A Little Bit of Life

Wanting, even desiring something better is a great way to start a day. We can always seem to adjust to just a normal day but when does it become special? Sometimes life seems so mundane and unchallenged and we don’t know how to spice it up.

New Beginnings:

Sometimes it just takes a simple “start moving” idea to get you going. Getting out to new places could help. As well as turning up the music to some good old beats. “Let yourself go sometimes”, as some would say. Maybe an exercise program or a biking club. Whatever it takes, you need to “start moving”.

What will be your motivation today? If you have some ideas, let everyone know.

June 2021

Don’t let this year finish without you. Make your days count starting today!!!

My Christmas Flower

What’s Special about Christmas? There are so many different people, places and things for everyone in the world. It wouldn’t be fair to place any one thought on any particular person that might justify a “Special Christmas” because there is so much diversity in the Season for each person.

I like flowers and taking photos. To my demise I don’t grow flowers and in recent days, I do very little photography. This photo is a favorite for me this time of year. I call it a Christmas Flower. We have red and green and definitely not in a pot.

Christmas should have no restrictions or boundaries. Just like a beautiful flower growing in the garden. But, someone’s help to nourish and water and love the flower never discourages growth. The type of life growth we desire must have the same attention. We can provide some of our own nutrients for growth but we still need good outside influences to grow. Here are a couple of influential ideas that might make Christmas a little more Special for you:

Praying, Loving, Giving, Socializing, Dinner Parties, Oh the Breakfast Party, the Snack Party, Sharing, A Kind Word, A Helping Hand…

You get the idea. Sometimes the smallest of good intentions will reflect a mirror image form the most unlikely situation.

Be kind to everyone you come across this Special Christmas.

Maybe the Special in Christmas is You!!

Now that Covid-19 has interrupted our lives, we make a special effort to wish everyone another Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Season’s Greetings to Everyone. Remember, you might be that bright and shining star in someone’s life this year. Make it happen!!

With all of the “Spiritual” meditative thoughts on our pages, where is the Spirit? Of which spirit do we receive knowledge or wisdom? Some seek God, some seek Allah, some seek Buddha, which is real? ow do we know? Let’s see what type of conversation we can have about this reckoning of the Spirit. I’ve had a kindling of a wisdom that has explained many aspects of “One True Spirit”. I have seen this hand touch a multitude while also comforting the individual. Have you found peace?

Did I say “Happy”? Of course I did. Stay cued in for informational tips to help you survive this 2019 Hurricane Season. We’ll start with a Happy tip.

  1. Don’t get bothered with the hype of personal opinions.

a. What??? Don’t get the wrong impression. We should have a great concern when we hear that a hurricane has formed. we need to keep up to date on the statistics of every part of the hurricane. We need to know if it’s trajectory is assigned to a close point in our area.

The hype is unauthorized people getting everyone confused about what to do, where to go and who to listen to. Keep yourself informed by an authorized, reputable hurricane analyst. And, of course, a reputable weather and news station.

Oh, yes all those apps are good. But if data isn’t available, they’re not much good. Have yourself a battery radio on hand and know where your stations are.

Blue Skies for Now!!

Stay with us over the next Hurricane Season for more tips. And don’t feel shy to ask questions.

Well, winter just won’t end. And the Hurricane season will soon be upon us. With this in mind, have you prepared? Here in the #Sunny #Bahamas, We tend to leave the battening down to the last minute. But we do other preparations ahead of time. Like storing food and water as a storm approaches. We make sure that we have enough material for shutters and we clear our yards of potential debris.

Do yourself the favor of placing a constant reminder of the “to do” list on the fridge, so the preparations can be done over a time stamp. This way you won’t have to rush everything into what might seem like a few moments. And you won’t get overwhelmed in the tasking of these necessary “things to do”.
